I understand the $$ gains and losses on all sides but for those who oppose congestion pricing explain how do you fix the transit system to make it be top notch in a city that represents the Capital of the World. A old system that has been neglected by previous administrations from both side, Republican/Democrat, and delayed repairs to the system. Now we have to pay a price. How do you expect to pay this astronomical fees? It does cost money for steel , material, upgrades etc… Where will this money come from major taxes on everyone is that the solution please tell me how ??? What is the realistic solutions? Don’t come and say workers are primary cost when in fact material , products are the lead cost.
