My name must be everywhere!
Now we learn why Trump has been illegally withholding $16 billion in congressionally-appropriated infrastructure funds for New York City’s Gateway Tunnel. He wants to trade release of those funds for Congress renaming Penn Station and Dulles Airport after him.
He has already put his name on the Trump Institute of Peace, renamed the Kennedy Center after himself and organized Trump Accounts for newborns.
Our 47th President is on a quest for Pharaoh-like immortality by means of grandiose building projects like the Trump Ballroom; a proposed 250-foot-high arch besting Napoleon’s Arc de Triomphe in Paris; and the new humongous “Trump class” battleships.
Will he name his proposed Middle East Riviera in Gaza after himself? Will he devise a Trump Peace Prize to replace the Nobel Peace Prize? Rename the White House the Trump White House? Chisel his bust into Mt. Rushmore?
