To the editor:
Just when we think we have seen and heard it all about the second cold-blooded murder of an innocent citizen by ICE in Minneapolis comes news that many witnesses at the scene were quietly and quickly rounded up and detained in jail while everyone else was wringing their hands about the murder.
I want to ask MAGA America if they think this was a smart move by President Trump and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, because intimidation like this often works to douse witness determination to tell the truth to the media and to a jury at trial, thus effectively covering up a crime.
Or was it a dumb move by the administration because many Americans still know that witness tampering has been against the law since Americans first landed at Plymouth Rock 400 years ago.
Which is it MAGA?

Kimball, three MAGA cult members, Thomas Curley and John Tell in letters and Robert Sica (aka Wordman) in comments, answered your closing question.
As Trump himself noted, he could shoot someone on 5th Av (or order the shooting of two people in Minneapolis) and not lose a single supporter. Sad, but true.

You must be talking about the average Democrat, J. Cannisi, AKA reenroe because during the entire corrupt Biden administration,“mum” was the word.

My interpretation of your letter is that the detention of witnesses to a second ICE-related murder in Minneapolis has raised concerns about witness intimidation and the possibility of a cover-up of the crime.
As a journalism student, I was taught to remain unbiased and refrain from making assumptions until all the facts are known. Therefore, I can only speculate that there is more to this storyline.
To be fair-minded, I understand that every story has three sides: your perspective, the other person’s perspective, and the actual truth, which often lies somewhere in between.
