Musicians with the Distinguished Concerts International New York Orchestra have secured a first contract following four years of negotiations with the company.

According to the terms of the five-year agreement, the musicians, represented by the American Federation of Musicians Local 802, will receive 13.5-percent raises over the life of the deal, more pay for first-chair players and for musicians who perform on more than one instrument and company contributions to a health fund and pension plan.
