Agencies contend with high turnover

The City Council will weigh legislation that would require city agencies to conduct exit interviews with retiring and resigning municipal employees.

As the city faces a vacancy rate that has quadrupled since the start of the pandemic, Council Member Shaun Abreu is proposing that agencies provide exit surveys to determine why people are leaving.
