To the editor:
Bravo to the voters in Ohio! The Buckeye State became the latest in a string of states whose voters protected women’s rights to abortion.
To take from Gloria Steinem’s truism that "if men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament," let me add this: Abortion can be a good thing; just ask any man who is pregnant.
Men have no right to try to control women’s lives and their bodies. The voters are listening to women and women’s rights advocates. The Republican Party ignores them at their peril.
