Cleaners at Montefiore Medical Center alleging that they were cheated out of overtime pay for years have filed a federal class action suit.
The cleaners, Danny Ramirez Cruz Guerrero (referred to as Cruz in the lawsuit) and Cristopher Ismael Ramirez, were employed by CSS Building Solutions, which is contracted to provide cleaning services at Montefiore’s facilities. They are also claiming they were unlawfully paid on a bimonthly basis rather than weekly.This item is available in full to subscribers.
