Unions belong wherever they are necessary. That means everywhere except unattended ancient catacombs. If there are guards there, there should be collective bargaining for more than to take air quality samples of the workplace.
Unions have successfully taken root even in non-fertile soil. It has proven possible, given collective spirit, for foundations to be laid in quicksand. Even in Congress.
