Cop Unions Soft on Crime?

It may be a reflection of the polarization in this country, state and city that an attempt by the co-owner of a Staten Island bar ran over a City Sheriff's Office Sergeant Dec. 6 while trying to evade arrest yet has not been condemned by any of the city's police unions.
