Nearly 1,300 members of the Professional Staff Congress who were supposed to get a $1,000 equity pay raise Feb. 10 have been stiffed by the City University of New York, with its Office of Labor Relations announcing they would be indefinitely delayed.
That's not how business is done in the public sector. Numerous city unions have deferred wage and benefit payments owed them by the De Blasio administration, but that came after good-faith bargaining led to agreements.
