It's early June, 1944. D-Day is about to be launched on the beaches of Normandy. The liberation of Europe would be the prize. General Dwight Eisenhower is in charge. He bears a heavy weight upon his shoulders. The salvation of civilization is at stake. A failed campaign would haunt the general and blot his legacy. Guilt is an unforgiving  taskmaster and tormentor. 

If only Eisenhower had been able to channel Eric Adams, the yet-to-be-born mayor, he could have been briefed on the new subway patrol orders and victory would have been assured. As master of logistics. strategy and budgets, Eric Adams is the emancipator of the subway system.
