The results of the open competitive exam for FDNY firefighter are expected to be made public by late December, according to officials at the FDNY and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services.
Applicants took the multiple-choice portion of the exam from Jan. 30 to May 10 this year, in what was the first open competitive exam for firefighters offered since 2017.
