Workers at GrowNYC ratified their first ever collective bargaining agreement last week after two years of bargaining with management at the environmental nonprofit.
The three-year contract covering over 100 workers includes provisions to improve worker safety, protections for union members working outdoors in harmful weather conditions and job security guarantees.
