The Democratic chairs of five congressional committees are demanding that the U.S. Office of Personnel Management "provide detailed answers on what OPM is doing to protect federal workers as the pandemic continues to cripple the nation."
In the Nov. 2 letter to Michael Rigas, the agency's acting Director, they blasted "the Trump administration's repeated failures to contain COVID-19 and reckless disregard for the health of Americans," as well as President Trump's regular "mocking" of public-health recommendations like mask-wearing.
