Labor looks to increase Senate support for ‘PRO’ Act

While some of the most far-reaching pro-worker legislation passed the House of Representative with room to spare in early March, the Protecting the Right to Organize Act faces a more uncertain future in the Senate.

The Progressive reports that business groups, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as well as local affiliates, are increasingly anxious about the bill’s provisions, which address right-to-work laws, bans on secondary boycotts and other statutes intended to dilute unions’ strength.
