At least that’s the story Hizzoner was telling Aug. 31 during his weekly appearance on “The Brian Lehrer Show” when asked by the host about the number of small children living in Housing Authority apartments who had elevated levels of lead in their blood having risen from the 19 he cited earlier this year to 1,160.
