To the Editor: It was the threat of a Teachers strike that directed the Mayor to close down schools over an agreed-upon, arbitrary 3-percent positive-testing rate with the questionable results of reliability that are coming to light.
The United Federation of Teachers was looking to distance learning three years ago with Silicon Valley, and now it appears.
