The city's primary elections have virtually wrapped up, with Eric Adams narrowly winning the Democratic mayoral primary, Brad Lander posting an upset to capture the party's nomination for City Comptroller, and the City Council results pointing to women holding a majority of seats next year, a big jump from the 14 currently in the 51-member body.
