More than 650 software engineers, designers, data analysts and product managers at The New York Times have formed a union, the paper reported. The tech workers, who have asked the company to recognize it, will be represented by the NewsGuild of New York.
More than 1,300 newsroom and business workers at the paper are already represented by the NewsGuild.
