MTA seeks stock workers starting at $34/hr, going to $40 after 5 years

The MTA’s Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority is accepting applications for stock workers through Dec. 15 for exams scheduled for early March. 

The current minimum salary is $34.37 per hour for a 40-hour work week increasing to $40.43 per hour in the sixth year of service. Benefits include night and weekend salary differentials, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, a comprehensive medical plan and a pension plan. The application fee is $82.
