Employees at several publications have recently settled contract agreements, including staffers at The New York Times’s Wirecutter, The NewsGuild-Communication Workers of America announced.
The Wirecutter Union, which represents about 100 editorial workers at The Times’ product review site, ratified a three-year pact that establishes a new minimum salary of $66,300 and raises ranging from 9.5 percent to 18.5 percent over the course of the contract.
