More than 30,000 refinery, plant, pipeline and terminal workers will vote on a new contract after the United Steelworkers and Marathon Petroleum carved out a deal Feb. 25 after a month of negotiations, the Houston Chronicle reported
The tentative, which would increase pay and benefits and improve conditions, provides a structure for local unions to negotiate terms for individual sites.
