The MTA’s Manhattan Bronx and Surface Transit Operating Authority is accepting applications for plant and equipment maintainers, electrical, through Oct. 15 for practical exams scheduled to begin Nov. 15. The The current minimum salary for the position is $34.84 per hour for a 40-hour work week, increasing to $40.81 per hour in the sixth year of service. Benefits night and weekend salary differentials, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, a comprehensive medical plan and a pension plan. The fee is $85.
