Two unions representing rail workers have sued in Federal court over Amtrak’s vaccination mandates. The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the International Association of sheet Metal, Air, Rail, and Transportation Workers’ Transportation Division claim that their collective-bargaining agreements compel Amtrak to negotiate regarding vax mandates, the Cook County Record reported.
The two unions are already in court, battling vax directives from freight rail companies Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern, the news site reported.
