Some of Biden's labor agenda could move forward despite Republican Senate

As President, Joe Biden could turn to executive directives to accomplish his labor-policy goals given that Republicans are expected to retain control of the Senate following Jan. 5 runoffs in Georgia, The Wall Street Journal reported. 

Mr. Biden ran on a platform promising empowerment of workers, a higher minimum wage and a greater ability for employees to form or join labor unions. His agenda, though, would face obstacles from a Republican-controlled Senate.
