The entrance exam for New York State Police Troopers is being administered through April 10. Applicants can take the two-hour test at any of more than 50 locations throughout the state. For those living out of state, including military personnel, hundreds of testing locations are available elsewhere, including abroad.
The starting salary is $58,443, increasing to $82,677 after a year. The application fee is $20 and the testing fee is $35.
