Less than three weeks after a child-abuse complaint was lodged against the mother of 5-month-old Raymond Porfil Jr., he died June 4, 2018 after she repeatedly slammed his head into a wall in their Bronx apartment.
The mother, Joann McLeod, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the June 4, 2018 death, after telling police she loved her 19-month-old daughter more because Raymond reminded her too much of his father.
