To the Editor: On June 29, Mayor Bill de Blasio stated, "Let's end solitary confinement altogether," and on Dec. 11 Councilman Daniel Dromm introduced a bill to eliminate solitary (punitive segregation) in city jails.
For the last seven years, inmate violence has been the Correction Department's "Rubik's Cube."
