Marty Walsh, who was at the helm of Boston's Building and Construction Trades Council before becoming Mayor of that city and is a close friend of President-elect Joe Biden, is being touted as the incoming administration’s Labor Secretary, according to Boston.com.
Mr. Walsh, who has not yet announced that he would seek a third term as Mayor, has been endorsed to lead Labor by two prominent union leaders, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka and American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten.
