December began with former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama volunteering to receive the coronavirus vaccine as a group and President-elect Joe Biden saying he would also get it in public as a way to encourage Americans to believe it was safe and potentially life-saving.
Mr. Biden added that from the start of his administration, he will mandate the wearing of masks for a 100-day period, long enough to get through April and hope that by mid-spring the current wave will have petered out.
