To the Editor: I have long known that Mitch McConnell is a duplicitous weasel. Yet, his behavior following the election and during the second Trump impeachment represented a new low, even for the Kentuckian.
For starters, Mr. McConnell refused to acknowledge President Biden's victory until mid-December, the day after the Electoral College voted, even though the result was known for weeks. Of course, this only lent support to President Trump's false narrative that he was the "real" winner.
