A traitor

Posted

To the editor:

Donald Trump, witnessing the four young deceased American soldiers coming home, lied blatantly when he said, without any evidence, that each of these heroes died supporting the war with Iran.  He has no idea how each soldier felt about the war, although it’s clear they each followed the rules of the military and the orders of their commanding officers.

That’s the way we Vietnam vets felt, although many of us participated in the 1971 protest by John Kerry with his Vietnam Veterans Against the War, as well as other protests.

Trump’s deliberately deceptive mantra that “We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon” is just an excuse for his failed war, and does not justify this war.  No one can trust or believe Donald Trump about anything, but when he sacrifices lives, especially American lives (18 dead and 100 injured) for his narcissistic lust for power and his attempt to distract from his close Epstein connection and the affordability crisis, Trump must be condemned by Members of Congress and the American people in the strongest language.

Donald Trump is a traitor in the fullest sense of the world.  He should be treated as such, impeached, and prosecuted as a traitor.

Yes a traitor and a liar. He never spoke to those deceased soldiers. What a travesty.

    I’m a pacifist. I oppose war.

Humans can’t coexist peacefully because powerful groups exploit or marginalize minorities to maintain control, preventing a balanced society.

Language differences, cultural misunderstandings, misinformation, and the human tendency to favor their social group contribute to fear and polarization.

The Reason for War and Peace:

Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace presents a paradoxical view: while human flaws lead to devastating conflicts, it is through human connection and moral growth that these conflicts can be healed.

You oppose war so you should oppose Trump and his idiotic war that won't solve anything. What a contradiction.
