Mayor Adams’ reelection effort received a significant boost this week by way of an enthusiastic endorsement of his reelection from police, corrections and sanitation unions, among others.
On the steps of City Hall under a broiling sun Thursday afternoon, union leaders made the case for Adams, with at least one — along with Adams himself — just as forthrightly warning against a vote for Zohran Mamdani, the upstart democratic socialist who scored a decisive upset in last month’s mayoral primary.
