To the editor:
Would you believe that President Donald Trump, who's responsible for cuts in Medicaid, SNAP benefits and subsidies for the Affordable Care Act, is protecting the social safety net? Or that if the United States raises taxes on the wealthiest of its citizens, it will be taxing them out of existence?
These are just some of the arguments that are presented in comments by a die-never Trump supporter who relentlessly responds with nonsense to any letter criticizing Trump.
He also argues that high private wealth puts money in workers' pockets. This is in response to a letter where I point out that Amazon and Walmart, owned by some of the richest people in the world, pay many of their employees poverty wages.
But if he were the only Trump supporter, there would not be a problem. Just as if Adolph Hitler had no one supporting him, he would have just been a nut ranting on a street corner.
But even after Trump tried to make himself a dictator on January 6, 2021, 77 million people still voted for him. By contrast, a true American hero, Ralph Nader, never got more than 2,883,103 votes for president.
Some people like to blame evil leaders for herding them astray. But too many people are more willing to follow them.
An event from 1,993 years ago gives you an idea of how mobs respond to good people, when one such group pointed at a good rabbi named Jesus and screamed, "Crucify him!"
Now we have one evil creature named Rudolph Giuliani, who incited the insurrectionists and before that hid information about how dangerous the air at Ground Zero was. He says that the mayor who revealed this information and when the city knew it, Zohan Mamdani, should stay away from Ground Zero. Like Trump, Giuliani has not been held accountable for his most serious crimes.
It doesn't matter what form of government or laws you have if they are only words written on paper. The Supreme Court, Congress and voters must do their part if we are to have justice.
Richard Warren

Hopefully, Trump will go to jail after his Presidency ends.

And hopefully Netanyahu will lose his upcoming election and go to jail. He’s possibly the only man on earth who is more immoral and ruthless than Trump.

Flowers of Injustice relies on a flawed basis by using a single letter writer to speak for millions of voters. The focus on the social safety net is a ploy to attack Trump and his voters. Exit polls prove his supporters are led by economic and national issues—such as job growth, tax relief, and border security—they all don’t think like one unique letter writer.

Why would Trump go to jail after his presidency? He received a no-penalty sentence for his concluded criminal trial and has iron-clad legal protections in his other cases. Why waste taxpayer money on a losing cause?

"Exit polls prove his supporters are led by economic and national issues". So the Republicans are doomed in the midterms. Rising prices and the idiotic war in Iran. Wait until you get your heating bill for heating oil this winter. "job growth, tax relief, and border security". He's not doing good in these areas. I see tax relief for the rich only, and the border security has gone too far. I thought they were only going to deport criminals???

Valette, there will be new criminal investigations and indictments. He'll get to jail. especially for concealing and taking classified documents. He won't have protection after he leaves office. It won't be a waster of taxpayer money. He belongs in jail since he is a criminal. Tax relief? Only for the rich? Safety net? Only for the rich? Border security, yes, but overdone. What about the economy? A really bad job, high prices on everything, including fuel and it's going to get worse. Are you happy with that? What about the idiotic Iranian war? Promises made, promises NOT kept. He lied to get in office and people believed his lies and he is still lying. Great approval rating, by the way. He will cause the Republicans to lose the House and maybe the Senate and the next President wont be a Republican, that's for sure.

Valete, you say "opinions vary!!!!" None of what Richard Warren or krell 1349 says is opinion. It's all documented fact. Unfortunately, you are not allowed your own set of facts. What you say is "opinion." What the others say is provably real. And hopefully on November 3, you will see just how many people Mr. Warren speaks for.
