The union that represents the nation’s Federal immigration judges filed a grievance on behalf of a Philadelphia judge alleging that U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions improperly removed him from dozens of cases involving juveniles because he was displeased with how he handled one of them.
On Aug. 8, the National Association of Immigration Judges filed the grievance on behalf of Judge Steven A. Morley, who was originally appointed to the immigration bench in 2010 by then-U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.
