To the editor:
The general debate for the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York runs from Sept. 22 until Sept. 28. Not surprisingly, the genocidal Benjamin Netanyahu and the megalomaniacal, would-be dictator and King-of-the-World, Donald Trump, are not expected to meet during this UN session.
This is good. How much evil can fit in one room, even if it’s as large as the General Assembly Hall?
I just hope at least one of the delegates in the General Assembly has the honesty and courage to call out these two monsters whose personal goals directly conflict with the purpose of the United Nations: To prevent conflicts, remove threats to peace, stop acts of aggression through collective security and diplomacy, to protect human rights and deliver humanitarian aid.
There is no honest and moral right for either Bibi Netanyahu or Donald Trump to be anywhere near the United Nations, or in positions of power in any place in the world.
