Teamsters Local 237 Maintenance Workers have voted down a tentative contract deal that would have extended the hours of those who work at the Housing Authority while giving those employees a four-day week.
Local 237 President Greg Floyd said following the rejection by a count of 357-210—about 60 percent of the affected 1,350 employees did not return ballots—that the next step would be arbitration.
