To the editor:

City Councilwoman Lynn Schulman describes herself a progressive.

But as the state licenses marijuana shops at a snail's pace, she gets a bill passed to fine landlords for not evicting unlicensed smoke shops. Fellow councilwoman and alleged progressive Carlina Rivera claims the illegal shops are targeting the underage with "cartoon-y" packages. Where I get mine, they ask young people for ID. I'm  66-year-old man and I don't see my "cartoon-y" package until after I tell them what I want.

Nationwide, President Joe Biden claims that when he thinks climate, he thinks jobs. But he approved the Mountain Valley Pipeline and oil-drilling in the Arctic. Both will increase climate change. 

Most of the media has not reported on his Vice President Kamala Harris' record as a prosecutor. That included attempting to get the death penalty for a prisoner whose guilt is in doubt, her defense of false confessions and her argument against releasing prisoners because their labor is needed. I Googled her. More people should do that.

In "Holy War" in 2018, Alicia Keys wrote and sung "If war is holy and sex is obscene/We've got it twisted in this lucid dream." But two years earlier, she supported the warmonger, Hillary Clinton. Even arguing for a woman president, a friend asked about the Green Party candidate, "Is Jill Stein a transvestite?"

The Emerson College poll of New Hampshire Republican voters shows Donald Trump at 49 percent. Christie Christie is now second at 9 percent. While Christie is not a good candidate, he is not bat-shit crazy. So perhaps Biden should remove his head from where the sun don't shine.
