Reading David Harsanyi’s article about the censoring of comic Norm MacDonald justifies my concerns over the attack on due process that is occurring today as a result of the “#MeToo” movement.
MacDonald had the temerity to point out that careers are being destroyed instantaneously on the basis of unsubstantiated accusations. The comic’s scheduled appearance on fellow SNL alumnus Jimmy Fallon’s show was canceled due to “sensitivity to the audience.” Some Fallon staffers were allegedly “crying” over the possibility of MacDonald’s appearance.
