To the editor:
Donald Trump constantly demands regime change in Iran, and that would probably be welcome by many Iranians. However, the regime changes that are critically needed are in the United States and in Israel.
Both nations are led by criminals who are not just criminals who violated their nations’ laws, but both Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu are reasonably called war criminals who have violated international law.
In November, 2024, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu for crimes against humanity, including starvation as a war tactic and intentionally directing attacks against civilians in Gaza. Israel has killed over 75,000 Palestinians, 80 percent civilians, many of whom are women and children.
While Trump appears to be trying to reach a peace with Iran, Netanyahu is bombing Lebanon and Hezbollah, preventing any chance for peace with Iran. Trump, a convicted felon, faces widespread accusations from international war experts and politicians for war crimes, specifically concerning threats to target the civilian infrastructure in Iran.
Trump has no chance for peace with Iran until he gets regime change in Israel, and for that Netanyahu has to be removed from office and arrested. Trump will have to stop all support for Israel in order to convince Israel to remove Netanyahu.
We should stop looking for regime change in Iran, an unlikely prospect, and try to remove the two criminals who are primarily responsible for the disastrous and deadly situation in the Middle East, Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu.

This letter serves as another instance of Gorman’s mental lapse into a fantastical realm. Gorman asserts that regime change is imperative in the United States and Israel, rather than Iran, and contends that Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu are war criminals who must be ousted from power to achieve peace in the Middle East. This unequivocally demonstrates that Gorman’s psychosis has caused him to lose touch with reality.

Reading letters from haters of America and Israel has motivated me to take time from my busy schedule, sometimes while multitasking, to counter their arguments and demonstrate their ignorance about the Iran situation. As a close friend of many Israelis, I’ve been privy to numerous news reports and videos that depict the violence and hardships endured by the Jewish people under the Ayatollahs’ regime for decades. It’s high time we address Iran’s hatred of Israel and the West in a factual and unbiased manner. Continuously criticizing two great democracies, Israel and America, only fuels the Ayatollahs’ hatred and barbaric regime.
It is inconceivable but true: the regime of the ayatollahs sought to develop nuclear bombs and manufacture tens of thousands of lethal ballistic missiles intended to annihilate Israel. The ayatollahs funded and armed its terror proxies, which sought to suffocate Israel in a ring of fire. At the same time, it spread a fanatical ideology across every continent, defining the West as an existential threat.
The ayatollahs believed they could continue their reign of terror without interference, as the world turned a deaf ear to their campaign of bloodshed and terror. However, they were mistaken!

"Absurd Man," aka Word Man and aliases, you are entertaining, albeit embarrassing, but you can't match the hysterically funny nonsense from the would-be John the Baptist, JD Vance, and the new Jesus, Donald J Trump. To be a successful comic today, you have to feed off Trump', Vance, and most of the Trump Congress, but as Kimmel, Colbert, and Fallon have said in their own unique ways the Trump cult makes you laugh and cry at the same time. They are killers in many ways, including starting an unjust war, supporting other horrific killers including Bibi Netanyahu and Vladimir Putin, denying health care and promoting vaccine conspiracies. But Absurd Man, you are like most Trump acolytes, you don't really believe what you say - it just makes you feel good to say it.

The regime change that is needed is here in the US. Trump and Vance must go.

Gorman, your perspective on the Middle East is disconnected from reality. The true obstacles to peace in the region have been the Ayatollahs of Iran. Your radical-leftist leanings are evident in your disdain for democracy, Israel, and the United States. This is reflected in your past and present letters, which reveal a misguided and ill-informed view of the Iran war.
To delve deeper into the history and culture of the Jewish people, spend a day at the Jewish Museum. Explore the artifacts displayed in the glass cubicles at the entrance of “Living Memory,” a new exhibit at Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center.
What these items all have in common is that none of their owners lived to see the end of World War II — all were victims of the Nazi horror that took six million Jewish lives. The exhibit explores how memory is formed and passed on, through personal objects that tell extraordinary — and at times, unbelievable — stories, along with rare Holocaust-era documentation and compelling artwork.
At the exhibit’s conclusion, a prominent quote from the late Holocaust survivor and Nobel Prize-winning writer Elie Wiesel sums up its mission: “We have to be the messengers’ messengers.”
