Acrimony tied to the longtime contract impasse between the union representing Staten Island Ferry workers and the city has spilled into public view.
A spokesperson for Mayor Eric Adams last week responded to a social media post from the head of Marine Engineers’ Beneficial Association that accused the city of undermining contract talks by saying he was spreading misleading information about the city’s most recent offer.
