The comeback kid

Posted

To the editor:

Let us embark on a reflective journey through the annals of history to scrutinize President Trump’s second inaugural address. This address not only met the lofty expectations of his supporters but also posed a formidable challenge to his adversaries.

Delivering his inaugural address without the assistance of a teleprompter, Mr. Trump presented a lucid and comprehensive discourse, outlining his ambitious plans to reform the federal government and elucidating his global aspirations.

Mr. Trump, as you know, possesses exceptional oratory abilities; he speaks in clear and unambiguous English, albeit with occasional sharpness.

During his second presidential campaign, Mr. Trump faced trumped-up criminal charges and a kangaroo court. To his credit, he emerged victorious. Consequently, it is undeniable that he is a "great American president."

Let me clarify that “great" is an objective description of Mr. Trump’s record and his remarkable comeback after losing to Biden in 2020, under questionable circumstances. Thus, Mr. Trump is known in his inner circles as the "comeback kid."

In conclusion, esteemed American presidents are willing to divide the nation before reuniting it on a new level of national understanding. Consequently, Mr. Trump is poised to divide the nation over immigration, foreign policy and school curricula that instill a sense of shame and hatred in our children towards themselves and their country.

In response to his critics, Mr. Trump maintains a composed demeanor, offering a wry smile and a thumbs-up gesture before resuming his work to restore the American Dream for all citizens of this great nation.

This letter is sarcasm, right? This letter is a joke, right? Composed demeanor, I think not? He lost to Biden fair and square in 2020. The Trump second term is the worst for a President ever. His mental faculties are diminishing. 3 more years of lies, retribution and insanity.

The letter is one man’s opinion about Trump and his accomplishments. If you disagree with my opinion regarding Trump, I have no problem with your disagreement. Tolerance for people who differ with you is what makes the world go around. If everyone thought and looked the same, the world would be more boring that it is.

Trump's exceptional oratory skills, composed demeanor and offering his critics a thumbs up gesture must be references to the way Trump dealt with a person in the crowd at his visit to the Ford plant in Michigan. When the man questioned Trump's continued blocking the release of the Epstein files, he shouted F-you twice and then flipped him the bird. Very Presidential indeed!

Despite the unfounded legal accusations against him, Trump demonstrated exceptional generosity. Unlike Democrats who resort to threats and fabricate false charges against their political adversaries without facing consequences, Trump supporters have grown weary of Democrats attributing the social unrest in the country to them. It is evident that the Democratic Party and its Bolshevik allies have been the direct cause of the social unrest in this nation, long before Mr. Trump became the 47th President.

Mr. Trump has shown remarkable composure despite biased media and Democrats’ persistent, baseless charges stemming from the Russia hoax. In my opinion, he’s a man for all seasons.

Opening baseless investigations into Comey, James, Bolton and Powell; threatening to demote and strip Kelly's rank and pension; telling a female reporter to be "quiet piggy" must all be examples of Trump's exceptional generosity and remarkable composure. Who suffers from TDS?

Unfounded investigations were conducted during the Biden administration, not the Trump administration. If the Founding Fathers were alive, individuals like Comey, Bolton, Powell, and other seditionists would face severe consequences for their treasonous actions. Remember, you’ve finally grasped the concept of TDS, so move on to something original, such as atheist communism, which is the mantra of the modern Democrat Party.

Hmm.. I was under the impression that the charges brought against Comey and James were dropped due to a lack of evidence aka unfounded.

I was also under the impression that Trump was convicted, TWICE by separate juries aka guilty beyond reasonable doubt. Finally, Robert Mueller concluded his investigation, which happened during Trump's first term not under Biden, into Russian interference in the 2016 election by saying he was not able to clear Trump of involvement. Mueller indicted over a dozen Russian GRU operatives for criminal election interference. All documented facts.

Whom do you think you are kidding? You should update your information regarding Comey and James. The facts differ from your post, but that’s the old lefty game: lies override facts. Federal cases against former FBI Director James Comey (and NY AG Letitia James) were dismissed in November 2025 by a federal judge, Cameron McGowan Currie, a Clinton appointee, who found the charges were brought by an unlawfully appointed prosecutor, Lindsey Halligan, violating federal law. The dismissals were "without prejudice," meaning the government could try to refile charges, but Comey's team argued the statute of limitations had passed. The DOJ is appealing the ruling to bring new indictments.

The judge that ruled Halligan, a former White House aide, was illegally serving as an interim U.S. Attorney and lacked the authority to present cases to a grand jury, is currently under appeal.

As of January 2026, former CIA Director John Brennan (often associated with FBI investigations) has not been indicted, though he is currently the target of an active federal grand jury investigation. As evident, James Comey, Brennan, and Comey have substantial concerns.

Jack Smith would have convicted him. Beyond a reasonable doubt. And don't forget he had classified documents at Mar-A-Lago. That was a slam dunk. He's a criminal and if he wasn't the President he would be in jail. In fact, that's where he belongs.

Former President Biden had some classified documents in his basement, but a judge who leaned towards one party didn’t take it seriously. It looks like this whole classified document situation was just another one that didn’t pan out.

No your wires are crossed. Biden cooperated, Trump obstructed. Go ahead, name the Dirty Dozen

The Dirty Dozen, those who attempted to undermine President Trump’s second presidential campaign, include:

    1) J. Comey

    2) J. Smith

    3) L. James

    4) R. Hur, who lacked a legal declaration of incompetence against Biden. The special counsel did not have the authority to declare Biden “mentally unfit” or “incompetent” to stand trial, as this requires a formal court process.

    5) M. Cohen

    6) A. Schiff, who was censured by the House of Representatives in 2023 for his conduct. This marked him as the 25th lawmaker to receive such a rebuke. The censure highlighted the partisan divide, with the vote largely along party lines. Schiff has maintained that he will wear this censure as a “badge of honor” and continues to assert his commitment to holding Trump accountable.

    7) J. Brennan, former CIA Director, who lied to Congress.

    8) H. Clinton

    9) N. Pelosi

    10) B. Obama, who directed the creation of false intelligence used to launch a coup to undermine President Trump and the American people.

    11) J. Clapper

    12) C. Steele

Despite their efforts, Trump won and rightfully became president. In contrast, former President Biden is forgotten, and Kamala Harris is undergoing shock therapy for failing to convince people of faith to support the Democratic Party’s preposterous social and economic policies.

I’d like to share some thoughts on the letters that spread negativity and blame people we disagree with for the problems affecting our minds and bodies.

I’ve read many books about freedom, and I’ve come to understand that tyrants aren’t the people we disagree with. Instead, they’re the prejudices we hold in our hearts. To truly be free and become better people, we need to realize that true freedom isn’t about avoiding life’s challenges but overcoming them. We can transform inner struggles like fear, desire, and even laws and tyranny into spiritual liberation. By embracing life’s dualities, joy and sorrow, we can achieve a higher state of self-mastery, not just an external escape. I challenge all ideas, and I know that the pursuit of freedom can sometimes become a chain, and that the real tyrant to overcome is the one within ourselves.

More like a bunch of baloney, the dirty dozen, just as I thought. Trumps dirty dozen includes him, Vance, Leavitt, Noem, Homan, Johnson, Hegseth, Patel, Gabbard, Bondi, Blamche, Lutnick, RFK Jr. , in fact dozens more. Your man Trump is really off the rails now, Valenzuela, Greenland, the Nobel Peace prize. What 8 wars did he stop? It will be time for the 25th amendment soon. It's coming.
