The fixer

Posted

To the editor:

President Trump is a frustrated savior. If only he had been there, he could have fixed it all.

For example, recently he said, “I would have won in Vietnam if I had been President.”

He also has reminded us that if he had been President, Russia would never have attacked Ukraine and Hamas would have never attacked Israel.

Seems like if Trump had only lived in Bible times, Jesus would never have been strung up on a cross and Noah would never have had to fill up an ark with animals.

We get it, Mr. President. Only you can fix anything and everything that ever goes wrong on planet earth.

You have been working hard to fix the November 2026 midterm elections, haven’t you? But what if you can’t?

Then your house of perpetual saving grace comes tumbling down to the ground, doesn’t it sir?

Trump's hindsight is 20/20. It's great to be a Monday Morning Quarterback.

In my opinion, President Trump could have averted several global events. Furthermore, Trump’s influence will be significant in the 2026 midterm elections. By that time, the Iran war will have concluded, the US economy will be thriving, and gas prices will be low. ( Time will be the determinant. )

Donald Trump’s actions have caused widespread chaos. People are panicking and calling him a disruptor. However, a closer look reveals a different perspective.

Trump is not a fixer, he is a breaker. He doesn't know what he is doing. Dream on about the Iran war ending so quick. Dream on about lower gas prices. They go up fast and go down much, much slower. Same for the economy, keep dreaming.

**Question of the Day:** When will the Iranian people rise up and overthrow the current regime?

Trump’s presidency is not a revolution, but rather a counterrevolution aimed at restoring foundational American values and common sense. In other words, Trump is a fixer.

Let's see if he can fix the economy. I doubt it. Inflation is up because of the idiotic war and it will go higher.

Ms. Shinkoskey’s letter expresses her thoughts and opinions, but it lacks solutions because addressing the issues facing America requires collective effort from multiple individuals.

In the past, there were admirable presidents, both Democrat and Republican. Americans rooted for the incumbent president to overcome the challenges both domestically and abroad.

Today, Democrats and Republicans can’t set aside party ideology. They demonize each other, and the loser in this is invariably the American people.

In short, America needs less finger-pointing and more compromise from Democrats and Republicans.

The American people deserve leaders who are ready to draft comprehensive legislation to address the long-standing issues that have divided them, far too long.
