To the editor:
Donald Trump’s 2025 financial statement disclosed a staggering $2.2 billion in personal earnings - more than he earned as a private citizen. Most of it, $1.4 billion, came from cryptocurrency deals involving Chinese and UAE foreign nationals who sought, and received, favorable rulings from the president.
Trump’s crypto partners-in-crime are “Special Middle East Envoy” Steve Witkoff and his sons. Meanwhile, a million small investors lost $3.8 billion on meme coins, as $TRUMP shed 98 percent of its value.
The Trump-friendly New York Post noted the blatant corruption issuing a scathing editorial that read “Insider deals, finders’ fees and backdoor introductions to family members are business-as-usual in Third World banana republics, but these slimy practices have now been normalized in the White House, to the shame of the nation.
Eric, Don Jr., Kyle and Brandon Lutnick are tied to a billion-dollar tungsten-mining deal that the US government is financing in Kazakhstan. The president himself actually called into a meeting between Howard Lutnick and Kazakhstan’s president as the deal was being finalized.
The Trump sons, meanwhile, are part-owners or investors in companies neck-deep in a key defense contract to mine tungsten reserves in Central Asia. It sinks to high heavens.
The stench lingers; in the first quarter of 2026, Trump made 3,700 securities transactions that were instant money-makers as markets soared or plunged upon major policy announcements made by Trump moments after his transactions. This isn’t insider trading; it’s insider trading coupled with market manipulation.
Bone Fide Wealth president, Douglas Boneparth posted “How to profit in the stock market – 1. Be the president of the United States." He didn’t list a second step.
We are witnessing the fleecing of America. Trump promised to “drain the swamp”; it turns out he, his family and friends were wallowing in the muck all along.

Cannisi is once again resorting to propaganda to manipulate the readership. While it is true that President Trump’s 2025 financial statement revealed a total income of $2.2 billion, with $1.4 billion derived from cryptocurrency ventures, the claims about the origin of these funds from Chinese and UAE nationals in exchange for favorable presidential rulings are baseless, undocumented, and outright false. All actions taken by President Trump and his administration are legal, despite the persistent efforts of so-called ‘reporters’ to spread misinformation. These reporters are merely recycling the same tired and false narrative that Democrats and the legacy media have been pushing for a decade so that useful dullards can spread the fiction narrative, like“spread inlike butter on soft-bread

Trump approved the sale of Nvidia AI chips to China following Chinese crypto investments and associates of Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan (the UAE's national security adviser) secretly spent a half billion dollars to purchase a 49% stake in World Liberty Financial - Trump's crypto company - The deal steered an estimated $187 million directly to Trump family-controlled entities.
As usual Word Man defends the indefensible by crying "fake news".

As anticipated, Cannisi, a left-wing propagandist, is judging Mr. Trump based on baseless left-wing rumors. There is not a single charge against Mr. Trump related to the crypto purchase. Cannisi frequently fabricates and spreads half-truths about Mr. Trump and the Trump family. Regrettably, for Cannisi, the crypto deal is no smoking gun. As I advised in the past, Cannisi should rely on credible news sources for his information instead of radical left-wing propaganda outlets.

For the record, the third, fourth and fifth paragraphs are a direct quote from the NY Post editorial board. Not a left-wing news source.
Trump decides which laws to enforce and which to ignore. So, the absence of charges does not equate to proof of Trump's innocence (as Sica argues). The Emoluments clause of the US Constitution makes the acceptance of jumbo jets, rolex watches, event tickets and business partnerships with foreign leaders - all of which were declared by Trump in his financial disclosure - illegal under US law.
Robert Sica is the one who thinks he can "spread propaganda and manipulate the readership". A review of letters and online comments demonstrates that no one is buying what Sica is selling.

I am indifferent to your adulterated opinions, Cannisi. Your letter constitutes mere socialist/communist propaganda—nothing more.

Robert Sica says he's indifferent to "adulterated" opinions. Actually, Sica is immune to facts like all willfully ignorant people. It's the blind loyalty of folks like Sica that has allowed the Trumps, Witkoffs and Lutnicks to rob America blind.

Cannisi follows plans both strict and blind,
He writes his daily letters, dark of mind.
A man who roves across the open land,
Overtly brainwashed by a hidden hand.
He strikes at Donald Trump with worthless lies,
On thorny stumps he sits and loudly sighs.
A five-fold timeless shame his soul has known,
Too old for honor's mold, he walks alone.
A die-hard communist who spreads vile text,
He cries a sea of tears, by freedom vexed.
On bended knee he wallows in the mud,
For no one cares; he is a forlorn bud.

True to the topic of the above letter, Trump is now exploring offering early access to Truth Social posts at the staggering cost of $100,000 per month. Of course, as primary owner of Truth, Trump stands to make obscene amounts of money from the subscriptions.
Wall Street traders are interested in subscriptions for the purpose of inside trading. This just another example of Trump "normalizing" abhorrent, criminal behavior and ripping off ordinary Americans.
