True colors

Posted

After posing as a pacifist to get elected, our president has revealed his true colors: blood red and black gold.

He is carrying out military action in Venezuela first, Colombia next, and Cuba, Mexico, Greenland, and Iran not far away. He is in a hurry. He must work before America and Congress wake up.

Peace through strength presidents of the past like George W. Bush increased defense spending in the range of 6-7 percent a year. Trump is demanding a 50 percent increase in the defense budget for 2027. He is threatening war contractors like Raytheon who are too slow in amping up production.

He changed the name of the Defense Department to the War Department. He installed a Pentagon secretary who speaks about nothing but “lethality” and “war fighters.”

He has announced a new doctrine of force, control, and retribution he calls the Don-roe Doctrine that says he can kill and pillage at will in the Americas.

He says, “I can do anything I wanna do. I’m the President.”

Welcome to your worst nightmare America.

In your letter, you assert that the president, while presenting himself as a pacifist, is revealed to be aggressive, leading to increased defense spending and threatening war contractors, and he has renamed the Defense Department to the War Department and announced the Don-roe Doctrine, which permits him to employ force within the Americas. This presents a distorted view of Mr. Trump, who is beloved by foreign governments that value freedom and prosperity, while being despised by those that suppress these values. Welcome to the world of President Trump, who has accomplished more to promote peace and prosperity globally than any American president in recent history.

President Donald Trump announced another peace deal; it is between Azerbaijan and Armenia adding to his streak of resolving conflicts around the world.

Mr. Trump announced the new pact alongside Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, ending a long-running conflict between the two neighboring nations over territorial claims. U.S. officials were reportedly working on the deal for months, and both nations are also set to deepen economic ties with the U.S. alongside the peace deal.

If I had to sum up President Trump’s perspective on life, I’d say he views everyone as interconnected and believes that a global sense of community is essential for world peace. He also thinks that love transcends borders and cultures, as he’s dedicatedly working to unite warring nations so they can live peacefully together.

It seems Venezuelan freedom fighter Maria Machado shares my view of Mr. Trump. At a White House meeting, Machado presented Mr. Trump with her Nobel Peace Prize medal, explaining that it acknowledged his dedication to her country’s freedom and marked a significant moment for Venezuela and its people.

After the meeting, Trump shared on social media that receiving the Noble Peace Prize medal from Maria was a “wonderful gesture of mutual respect” and a “great honor.”

May peace prevail in our unity, and may the divine winds of peace and love embrace our two countries…
