To the editor:
Donald Trump and Charlemagne are two big men who like large crowds and loud music. One rode a horse through the mud of Europe. The other takes a gold elevator in New York.
Both men think they own the place.
Charlemagne conquered the Saxons. He made them get baptized or he killed them. This was his way of deal-making Trump does not use water. He uses Twitter.
He tells people they are losers and then he wins the election. Charlemagne had many wives and liked roasted meat Trump likes fast food and big rallies.
They both like to put their names on things. Charlemagne called it the Holy Roman Empire. Trump calls it a golf course.
The Frankish king wore a crown of gold and jewels. It was very heavy. Trump has hair that stays in place even when the wind blows hard.
Both men look into the mirror and see a protector. Charlemagne fought the Moors. Trump builds a wall. They both believe that without them, the whole thing goes to pieces.
History repeats itself, just with different clothes and newer toys. Both leaders wanted total control and clear power. They wanted people to follow them without question.

The time has come to move on.
Tit for tat is most boring.
And opinions are at odds.
Rebuttals, time consuming.
The dull posts are most jejune.
So have a good afternoon.

Valete, aka Robert Sea and Word Man, etc., I don’t believe you will move on past the Trump cult. Good luck escaping!
