Transport Workers Union International President John Samuelsen and his full slate of officers were unanimously reelected this week at the union’s 27th Constitutional Convention in Las Vegas.
Tuesday's vote by acclamation marked the second straight convention where Samuelsen and his team faced no challengers, a rarity in the union’s 90-year history. Samuelsen, a former president of TWU Local 100 in New York City, first won the international post in 2017.
