Union successes at UPS, in Hollywood and at the Big Three automakers grabbed the headlines last year. Organizing efforts at Starbucks, Apple and even Amazon also made news. And after a decade of increasing support, fully two-thirds of Americans said they approve of unions, according to a Gallup poll from August.
It would seem organized labor is enjoying a renaissance of sorts.
