Construction worker Jeremy Rozan, 34, was painting support beams over the Roosevelt Avenue Bridge, which runs over the Van Wyck Expressway, when he fell into oncoming traffic and was killed last November.
“My memory of him is when he came to the apprenticeship he was very adamant to become a productive member of society. It’s just sad to see a young member, a young gentleman leave a family behind,” said Angel Rivera, a fellow member of the Structural Steel & Bridge Painters of Greater New York Local Union 806, who knew Rozan for over a decade.
