The Board of Collective Bargaining has said that the FDNY’s roll-out of its Paramedic Response Units created an additional workload that should be subject to labor negotiations.
Local 3621 of District Council 37, which represents Emergency Medical Service officers and brought the improper-practice charge, and the city have a session planned for June 14 to begin bargaining.
